The Jack Russell  Breed is one with a lot of energy.  They are fiesty but they do well with kids, cats and other dogs.  They have a kind and gentle nature and they can be very entertaining.  The Jack Russell is a very intelligent dog and can outsmart you very easily.  They will keep you on your toes with their endless amount of energy.

When it comes to training your Jack Russell, they enjoy the challenge.  It’s important to switch up the routine while training him/her so it’s not so predictable for them.  They tend to get bored easily if all of your attention is not on them… so training sessions/routines should be short and one on one.  This is a breed that lives for attention and activity.
